Delete your MyZenfi account
You can delete your account and every piece of data linked to it from inside the app. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.
Before you start
Want to keep a copy? Export it first: Settings > Account > Export my data produces a JSON file with everything stored in your account.
Delete the account in the app
Open MyZenfi and sign in with the account you want to delete.
Go to Settings > Account > Delete account.
Read the confirmation and tap Delete.
Confirm it's you. If you registered with an email address and password, enter your password. If you use Google Sign-In, you will be asked to sign in with Google again. A wrong password stops the process and nothing is deleted.
The app deletes your data, removes your sign-in and signs you out. Your account is gone.
The whole process takes a few seconds and needs an internet connection.
What gets deleted
- Your profile: sex, date of birth, height, weight, goals, activity level, dietary preferences and allergies.
- Your food diary, including the meal descriptions you typed for AI estimates.
- Your activity log, including entries imported from Health Connect or Apple Health.
- Your weight history.
- Your weekly meal and workout plans.
- Your daily AI usage counters and the record of when you accepted the privacy policy.
- Your authentication record: email address, display name and profile photo URL.
Data in Health Connect or Apple Health on your device is not affected: MyZenfi only reads from them and never writes.
What may remain for a short time
Residual copies in Firebase backups and crash reports are purged on Google's standard schedules, typically within 30 to 180 days. Anonymous crash and analytics events (device model, OS version, app version, coarse country) are not linked to your account.
Can't sign in?
If you no longer have the app or cannot sign in, email us from the address linked to your account with the subject "Delete my MyZenfi account". We may reply to confirm that the request came from you. We delete the account within 30 days and confirm by email.
